Salam to all future adventurers! Welcome to Qadeemul Kanaz online! Here you can find the latest happenings and find out more about the Freshmen Orientation Camp 2009, a collaboration between NTU Muslim Society and Perbayu.

When is the camp going to be held?
  It is going to be a held from the 31st July to 2nd August. It will be happening over the weekend and a week right before school starts.

Do I have to be an NTU prospective student to join the camp?
  Not necessarily! This camp is open to all freshmen and youths who are not necessarily uni-bound! This is a great opportunity to network with fellow undergraduates and make more friends! Call your friends to join this camp with you!

Must I pay to attend the camp?
  Yes, all participants have to pay a nominal registration fee of $20.This money goes towards your meals for the 3 days, a t-shirt as well as a goodie bag.

Oh dear! What do I need to bring for the camp?
  No worries, we have drafted a packing list specially for you warriors!

Salam All!

Are you people excited for the camp? Well well well, just 6 more days!!! I am sure that by now, all of you would have received an email about the packing list. Most importantly, ladies, please remember to bring shawls or cardigans or whatever else you deem fit for movement since we will be sleeping over in the mosque. And apparently it is rather cold at night so everyone, do remember to bring extra socks and windbreakers to keep yourselves warm!

Now now, talking about windbreakers..have you seen our new NTUMS windbreaker? It is reversible, which means that you can choose to wear it as a black jacket on Mon and as a red jacket on Tues! How cool is that? Anyway, it is really comfortable and I urge you campers to get one for yourselves! It is just $30!

If you are interested, do send contact details (name, contact number, email), size, quantity to: elite.essaouira@hotmail.com. Likewise, do email if you have any enquiries.

If you are unsure about whether you should get it, we suggest that you just bring along an extra $30 on the camp day. So when you see us walking around in the windbreakers and you think that it looks good and you would like to purchase one as well, then you can just approach us! The best thing is that you are able to get the windbreakers at the end of the camp! However do note that it is a limited edition so don't wait too long to get it!

So campers, let's start our countdown right now! InsyaAllah we will see all of you in 6 days time =)
