Salam semua!
It's been some time since the last entry. Well, we have been busy commuting between tampines and sembawang, and from sembawang all the way to tampines for two whole weeks! Its a lot of travelling. And we get up early to collect cardboard boxes from various places, that we can become full fledged karang guni (for real). And we painted so much in a day that you can even consider hiring us to paint your houses for you. So yup, we are finally done with our props making and beautiful flags and banners! It's really an achievement considering the fact that not many of us are artistically inclined! And and and, some of us even tried our hands on baking! It's part of our fundraising effort and guess what, the cookies are... edible! haha, in fact it's delicious! Good job bakers!
Oh yes, we actually had our packing day last week. We were practically like factory workers. turn to the right, get envelope, slot poster into envelope, turn to the left, pass envelope to next person. Yup, we did that for just 5000 times. Oklah kidding, there were quite a few of us who came down from FOC so i am guessing we each did abt 974 envelopes each? LOL. Back aches and hungry stomachs aside, it was unexpectedly fun despite the monotonous task cos we came prepared with our own form of entertainment!
And we got to meet our facis and station masters as well! So much laughter and games! Pictionary was hilarious. Attempting to figure out one's drawing was difficult enough, what's more having to guess songs from the 80's?! And double wacko was indeed very stressful especially when you are depending on your friend to save you! haha, lots of sabo-ing which makes it all the more fun. So be assured that you will have very havoc and enthusiastic facilitators through out the 3 day camp! Don't worry about it! =)
We assume that you have received your orientation package! Did the yellow piece of paper catch your eye?! haha, so what are you waiting for warriors? Come sign up now! =)
