Salam to all future adventurers! Welcome to Qadeemul Kanaz online! Here you can find the latest happenings and find out more about the Freshmen Orientation Camp 2009, a collaboration between NTU Muslim Society and Perbayu.

When is the camp going to be held?
  It is going to be a held from the 31st July to 2nd August. It will be happening over the weekend and a week right before school starts.

Do I have to be an NTU prospective student to join the camp?
  Not necessarily! This camp is open to all freshmen and youths who are not necessarily uni-bound! This is a great opportunity to network with fellow undergraduates and make more friends! Call your friends to join this camp with you!

Must I pay to attend the camp?
  Yes, all participants have to pay a nominal registration fee of $20.This money goes towards your meals for the 3 days, a t-shirt as well as a goodie bag.

Oh dear! What do I need to bring for the camp?
  No worries, we have drafted a packing list specially for you warriors!

Assalamualaikum everyone!

We are finally back after a long hiatus. Been busy preparing for exams and alhamdulillah it has finally come to an end and now, we can focus all our energy on the orientation camp! Yesterday, we had a team bonding session where we started off by celebrating 3 of our beloved ad-hocs birthday. Happy birthday once again to Naz, Naim and Shakirah! This time, it was the yummy chocolate cake! Yay, ok can't wait for the next birthday celebration and hopefully it is back to the all time favourite mango cake! =)

Right after zuhur, we started playing the games. We had to come up with 2 truths and 1 lie about ourselves. It was definitely amusing finding out certain things that we never knew about our friends. Did you know that one person claim to be erra fazira's relative? And to think that we actually believed her! haha. padahal padahal...Then, there is a person who eats vege ONLY with kuah lemak. And there's a guy in the group who goes to the market every weekend...haha. The next few games were as chaotic as the first! I think it is definitely safe to say that yesterday was a blast! Special thanks to our camp commandant for coming up with the nonsensical games and also to our advisors for the strategy game during the later part of the day.

At the moment, we are coming up with ideas for our trailer. Filming of trailer will be carried out next week, and we can hardly wait! We will definitely put in our best to produce a trailer that is worth anticipating for!

This is the start of our hectic preparations for camp and insyaAllah, we will survive! =)
